Future of RPA in India

The use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is rapidly being increased by companies to carry out basic, repetitive tasks that would normally be carried out by humans, for example, form-filling, data entries and calculations. With the promising abilities of RPA to increase the operational efficiencies and its wide applications, many organizations worldwide are already using it. 


So, RPA has become quite popular all over the world but what is the position of RPA in India? Is it being used in India? Do we have enough RPA developers? Will it be successful in India? These all questions will be answered and we will also know about the possible future of RPA in India.

Indian RPA market is lagging behind the North American and European regions in the implementation of RPA. But India is considered to be a great destination for RPA market growth as India is globally leading in the development of RPA and AI based technologies, it is even ahead of US and Japan. India has make some latest developments in the automation sector. One of the study which was conducted globally suggested, 73% of the audience is satisfied with the automation technology of India. If we minimize it to India, 86% of the Indian audience was satisfied. 
Currently, RPA is owned and executed in India by very few companies. But many Indian business leaders are showing there interest and believe it can be beneficial for their companies. India is also having great minds for RPA implementation.


Future scope of RPA in India

India can definitely become a RPA powerhouse because of the great talent present in India. Indians have great problem solving skills which work perfectly for RPA. The prime minister Narendra Modi has also introduced Future Skills platform aiming to up-skill potential employees and students. On this platform, one can learn about various technologies and RPA is one of them. So, this will create a good number of RPA developers in India. Also, many companies like g1ant which provide RPA services are giving internships to people in India and making them comfortable with RPA. 
It is also predicted that RPA market in India will grow at a CAGR of above 20.0% during the forecast period of 2019-2025. So, RPA will create a lot of jobs in India as Indian companies are expected to have the large-scale adoption of RPA.
